VIDEO: PULSE-COUPLED OSCILLATORS

VIDEO POST

Dynamics of pulse-coupled oscillators with delay, organized in a ring topology. The amplitude of each node trajectory increases monotonically in time (represented here in the radial direction, and re-emphasized with both a color and size gradient), until it passes some threshold and resets. Each reset node sends a pulse (with delay) to any connected nodes, which increases the amplitude of connected nodes by some discrete step. Shown here for two different initial conditions.
